Makes enough for 10 guests

Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, serving 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Directions

Making the Citrus Syrup: Combine all the components inside a pot, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, turn off the heat and leave to reach room temperature completely. Decant to a clean bottle, cap it and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for up to one month.

Preparing the Cocktail Base: Pour all the liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml from the cocktail base into your mixing glass packed with ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, top with the cranberries adding the final touch using a brief mist with the mandarin essence above the glass.
